Her parents are Harvey Welker a Native American father and Julie Welker an African-American mother. Her mother works as an agent and her father is a civil engineer. Walker attended school in the Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown region, where she was able to graduate in 1994. Then, in 1998 she received her degree at Harvard College with a Bachelor's degree. Welker married John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was known as a marketing director. The couple has two daughters. They started an affair in 2014. John her husband is just four years older than her. Their relationship was developing so well, they decided to take their relationship to a new level. On March 4th 2017 the couple got married. They were married in Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. The venue was the Hyatt the couple held a huge wedding. A few friends and family members was invited.
