StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. The film also featured her in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman appeared in Narcos (2015) as in S.W.A.T.(2017) which was the first and second seasons respectively. Sigman was born to her Mexican mother, as well as an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) They were both born in Ciudad Obregon. Through her father Sigman, she is a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] The father of her, professional baseball athlete Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She began her career on Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. [6] The film was nominated as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, didn't make the final list. 9 Sigman received a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in recognition of her work as a film critic in 2011. The following year, she played Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer in which was a Norwegian thriller.
